- I received my undergraduate degree in special education (K-12) from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1991. I taught k-12 in the Omaha, Tampa/St. Petersburg, and in the Atlanta area. I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading at Literacy in 2007 and I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. The more teachers I speak with, the more angry I become. Teachers are treated like second-class citizens, and it’s time to say “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any longer!”
